IMPLEMENTATION OF CCE
The proposal of Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation system by C.B.S.E. Board has brought a paradigm shift in evaluation. The system envisages making students think laterally and beyond the confines of books. It involves breaking the syllabus into two semesters, each consisting of two formatives and one summative or terminal pen and paper test. Formative tests with their liberal outlook are intended to unleash the inner potentials of the students and undo the rote learning. The CCE helps students to explore, learn to learn and thus make them thinking individuals who can contemplate out of the box and be a partner in the learning process.
To imbibe the spirit of fair & healthy competition and to groom leadership qualities, the students are divided into four houses, Dayanand, Hansraj, Shraddhanand and Virjanand. Inter-House competitions are conducted in various events like Literary, Cultural & Sports to provide a platform for the children to expose their talents. Each House works under the supervision and guidance of a senior teacher as House Master who is assisted by Associate teachers and a House Captain. Ample opportunities are available to the students to represent at Inter-School competitions to enrich their caliber and prove their excellence.
